Learn How to Protect Lake County's Oak Woodlands

This educational workshop is designed for:Homeowners, Landowners, Resource Managers, Agency Staff and Community Members Concerned About Oak Tree Health.            

Mediterranean Oak Borer (MOB) poses a serious threat to our native oak woodlands. Early detection, education, and community action are essential to protecting these iconic trees for future generations. Topics Include:✔ Current status of MOB in Lake County ✔Identification of Mediterranean Oak Borer (MOB) infestations ✔ Recognizing signs and symptoms in oak trees ✔ Best Management Practices to reduce risk and protect valuable oak resources  ✔ Available resources and next steps for landowners
