Thank you to Tami Bender for speaking at our September Business Association dinner and sharing some helpful transportation information for our seniors here in Lake County.
We appreciate the valuable services you provide. Lake County is fortunate to have your services in our community.
For seniors, 55 years and older, you may be eligible for transportation for necessary services such as grocery shopping, banks, post office, food bank, some senior centers, and medical appointments. If you are on a walker or using a cane the Lake Links drivers are trained to accommodate you.
If you prefer or feel more comfortable having a friend or relative provide your transportation, Lake Links has a program called Pay Your Pal, wherein they may be eligible to be reimbursed for their gas per mileage.
Lake Links can also provide seniors with a Resource Directory for Lake and Mendocino Counties.
